Good Wednesday Morning from the BigRigTravels Broadcast Truck!
TK woke me up because I never turned the heat on lastnight, and it got chilly. LOL I had the covers wrapped pretty tightly around me, and I guess she could not nose her way in. She got under, turned around a few times, then scooted close to me. Then the purrs and motors started. LOL Spoiled TK.
Ok, looks like it will be a nice easy, long run today. Goal today is 600 miles. No pick ups or deliveries today, just straight driving. Decent weather it looks like.
Head 'Em Up! Let's Roll! I gotta a truck kat that needs to be rocked to sleep, and people need to get their food out in Texas.

Poor TK, I hope she has warmed up now. I did see you pull out and thought WOW Steve is getting out early, 5am central time. Glad the weather will be good. Hopefully you will find a good truck stop for breakfast or lunch.
Take Care and God Bless You.

I was reading through your older pages & saw that yesterday Tammy asked what kind of tree that is in Alamo Plaza.
I can answer that for her (or you in case you don't know), it is a Live Oak and it is definitely native to Texas. They can grow huge. There are larger ones than that one Stephen got a photo of. However, Steve's photo of the tree and wall is indeed very beautiful.
Inside central Alamo grounds spreads a humongous one, but I don't remember the age the sign says. All ya'll come on down to Texas to vacation! --Texas Lady
Thank you so very much Texas Lady.
That tree is absolutely beautiful. If I may ask, do the trunks grow naturally like that (twisted)?
Good morning Steve and TK, safe driving and good weather for you today.
Hope you finally get that steak in Texas! Smooth traveling! Enjoy those warm temps!

11AM - so, no waves from fans in Lucedale, but you went a few feet from where I worship when I am in Biloxi. Lovely looking weather. fin
Texas Lady to Tammy -- so sorry Steve to use your blog for chat -- is just this once alright?
Yes, Live Oak trees can have twisted trunks. Mature specimens are beautiful with great spreading limbs. They grow all the way to the earth though if lower branches aren't trimmed back.
The Alamo Live Oak trees in San Antonio were planted after the siege in 1836. The Daughters of the Republic of Texas wanted to honor the fallen heroes and these majestic trees were planted in their memory.
A bit confused Steve. Your route map shows you should be taking the I20, but you're yellow pin appears to be on the I10.
Did you change your mind?
