Well, we just could not pull off an ontime delivery this morning. We got sidelined by our 14 hour clock! Yes, everybody knew about the problems that arose last night with the late release from the previous delivery and having to hire a mobile washout van to come to us at 1AM LOL
We are about 100 miles away, so the only option we have right now is get the minimum 8 hour split sleeper berth rest, then drive the rest of the way there, then shutdown for another two hours so we can make it to our Atlanta terminal for safety class. Tomorrow is the last day of the first quarter, so it is our last chance to meet my safety bonuses!!

Sorry but 100 miles ? Are you serious? They would send another truck and driver to lug it in that short of a distance? No friggin way I would shut it down within 100 miles of my destination. Thats only another hour and a half if you drive like granny.
