You have your sunglasses handy?  You will need them as we head Eastbound across 80 towards Salt Lake City, Utah this morning.  If you look off to your left, you might be able to see parts of the Great Salt Lake which is 75 miles long, and 35 miles wide, making it the largest natural lake West of the Mississippi!

The best salt is mined, not evaporated. Food grade salt is not produced from the this lake. It can loose it's saltiness, then used only for being tred underfoot (or under tires). I know this from this mornings's sermon on
Matthew 5: 13-16
