I am satisfied with 10 secs. 5 secs didn't do well for me. Thanks. Drive safely.

To whoever said they didn't get any picture on Firefox == I get a very good picture on Firefox. It is most likely that you don't have the proper Viewer Add-on down loaded to your computer.

I am using cable broadband and firefox.

I could see no difference in the failure rate in 5 sec. and 10 sec. refresh. I believe it depends on the strength of your signal, Steve. At times, I had problems with both speeds.

I was grateful for the 5 sec. refresh when we went over the bridge beside the arch.

However, if others are having problems with the 5 sec refresh, it is not worth doubling your bandwidth to keep it at 5 sec. I like it, but I am only one person and you need to do what's best for the majority. Thanks for trying it.

Right now I have 3 machines open. A 17" laptop with Windows 7 BRT opened on bing. A 15.4" laptop with Vista BRT opened with bing. A 22" PC Quad with Vista with BRT opened on ie. All are showing full screen. Best picture is the 15.4" on Bing and the worst on ie. The same amout of black screen 5 or 10 seconds. The operating system you have makes no differance. When BRS get his new quad laptop his processor speed will be fast. He will be able to use any seconds he wants too and do things much faster. The older the computer the less you can do with it. The signal BRS receives from the tower makes the picture we see. Strong good picture, weak black screen and everything inbetween.

But also, don't forget, it takes YOU longer to download a bigger image (widescreen versus the standard image I have) Heck, if I did the original small image, everybody could download it very fast, and we would never get a missed frame. LOL

Here is a test to see what happens. LOL Using a smaller image for folks to download, means you can get it without any missing frames, or partial frames......IF * IF * my theroy is correct. LOL

Paste this special link in your browser....TET only, this is the only place you can get to this test page....tell me what you think, and if all the problems disappear. LOL

ACK! Small screen, but faster to download!

Hi Steve

Very disappointed I missed the 5 second trial but I`ve got two windows opened, one with widescreen the other with the link you gave us but have used Ctrl+ to get a full screen,so far no difference . My question is should there be a difference or am I just being stupid.

On the test page I can enlarge the picture to the normal size and I get a slightly brighter and clearer image on IE than on Mozilla.

OK here goes, IE full screen every 10 sec. every time. (did not happen that way before, only 1/4 screen image every 10). WooHoo!

Fire Fox no picture on 10 sec. ??

Lee CA Which download do I need for Fire Fox and how do I get it. I know from FireFox but How? Thanks,

Dottie said...

No thanks, Steve, I prefer the larger screen even if I happen to miss a frame once in awhile. I like reading the signs and your comments at the bottom.

BRS, I tryed your link on ie you can get the same widescreen picture that I get on Bing My browser on my home page. It's a very good picture. The OS doesn;t matter it's the speed of the processor. I download everything when I release my finger from the key. Instantly.

I ditto Dottie, full screen is GREAT.

I now get fll screen on Fire Fox.

Afaid to turn the computer off as everything works perfect now. LOL

This is one strange-looking place!

OK BRS -- I didn't know you were picking up big rocks. LOL Just for reference, I have been watching on the wide screen mode with my computer at FULL screen and the picture fills the entire 16:9 HD screen with a very clear picture. It is a little off center so I have to use the scroll bars to center it. But it misses very little.

He's in Carthage.
He didn't get time to reboot the computer before they called him to his dock door in one of the 10 caves.
So we'll be looking at the same image, or none, till he is back to the surface.
