Ok, update. The repair folks tell me the part is on the way, and we will be back on the road at, or before, 3PM local time. Not sure if we will keep this load, get it repowered, or will reschedule the delivery.

TK did it. She tried to slow you down yesterday and when that didn't work she used her physic powers to flatten the tire and make you wait long enough for the truck to do it's thing before you got on the road. Of course there was some help from HIM.

Hmmm 1500-0400 still possible with a lot of hard driving! 600 miles to go?
Will you drop or fix hooked-up. If it fell off there is nothing to take off.

I am in utmost ahh that your brake chamber mounting bracket broke while you were sitting still, how is that possible?

well, it had to happen sometime. I really think it happened when the tire changer set the trailer back down...he did so with a decent bang, so that might have finally made it break loose. I am sure it was cracked previously.

I have NO idea what the industry average is, but it 'feels' like you have had a fair share of truck problems in '09. I had just begun watching when you had a few days forced vacation in Nebraska.

My day has been full of stress as well, but hopefully it is nearly over. Hundreds of people flying in and out of Phila today missed their connections, and I literally had to call to have them hold my flight. I was last on the plane and they slammed the gate behind me.

Next stop, Mississippi. Oh, and my stupid verizon card is easily picking up your truckcam here in Charlotte, which it was not doing in New England.
