Good Friday Morning to ya Road Crew!
Here it is Friday, July 3rd, the day before Independence Day!
As we rolled through my terminal inspection bay lastnight, they Red-Tagged the BigRigTravels Broadcast Truck! :( Seems there are some brake problems....
If you remember, just the other day, the TA truckstop in Barstow, California did some emergency repair work and we were delayed for a few hours. We had all the braking system on one side replaced. Now lastnight, they found springs protruding from the wheel!
Our trips have been cancelled, and we are down for the count. Have not heard when or how long it will take for us to hit the road again.
Since we are here....I went ahead and wrote up that our air conditioning needs to be recharged as well. Heck, might as well get done what we need while we are stuck here, right?
To help conserve broadband usage, we will not have the camera broadcasting because all you would be able to see is the walls of the repair building.
I will keep ya informed as I find out more information.

Ok, at least you & TK are safe! As long as you are careful not to poke each other's eyes out while playing in the truck!
Tell them to give you a new truck!!
Best these things are caught BEFORE they caused you major problems on the road! Now show us that MAD DANCE!
That poor truck has been up and down and all around the USA. New truck, new truck. TK, stand your ground for a new truck with a cushioned window seat!
I had thought what Duke of Earl said, but I seem to remember asking a few weeks or months ago and being told the truck was barely broken in.
I agree it is a good thing that the brake issue did not come to light as you were descending a 70 mile grade out of Lone Pine to Death Valley or something similar.
And, if memory serves, you have someone local to hang out with and go take pix and stuff.
Good idea on the bandwidth too!

Enjoy the leisure time on a holiday weekend, at least off-road.
You dont need a new truck for new shoes and lining. Keep a record of how many miles you drive, then have your brakes checked.
LOL. It is not about new brake shoes, or new anything. Parts fail, and sometimes shoddy work is to blame.
Good morning BRS, TK, and RC!
Sorry to hear there is truck trouble but thank goodness they found it now.
Be sure you keep your eyeballs off TK'S futs!!!! Poor kitty.
