Texas Man banks do follow that rule. If holidays falls on a Saturday that is the holiday. If you are schedule to work you have off. But if not (ie back off staff) you dont get off or extra day to take later. It's a real bummer when Christmas fall on a Saturday. Cons
Here in Lancaster County, there are doing that. I guess it costs to must to give the employees an extra day off. The temp employees I work with are complaining. But that is life in banking I guess.

Well the credit union where I work gets to take a "floating holiday" any other day of the year you want to use it! Now that's a good deal! :)
