Morning-Afternoon Road Crew!

Decided to sleep in some, actually, more like lay and toss around. LOL. Texas is pretty crummy for sinuses, and then ya add the heat and humidity. Oh well, we will get moving here shortly.

Good MornNoon to you BRS & TK, kind of figured you had a bad headache or something going on there. You had a crazy day yesterday, hope everything goes better for you today. Safe travels, doubt we will see much from where you are headed so take care and stay cool.

Morning Steve, Tk & Road Crew,

Hope you have a better day today.

Taco - perhaps you will get to see some of Laredo.

We won't see you most of the day. No signal to and from Mexico. Don't forget to turn the cameras off while at the order. Border agents hate cameras.

Pick up Grandma!

ET said...

No, I think we should pick up Grandpa this time!

Anonymous said...

That's right! It would be pick up grandpa, except Steve has to stay overnight this time. Nobody is willing to sleep in the top bunk!

I did notice Steve has gotten adapted to cooler weather. And a very good thing too, considering the very cold winters he's had to drive in. burrrr!
I was freezing in his truck while he was comfortable. Then when we were out of the truck he was saying, "ah, hot!" while I was finally feeling comfy. ha.

That sounds just like me and my husband Texas Lady! Ha Ha

Alrighty, a big pot of chili has been simmering all morning & a perfect banana pudding is ready. Anybody hungry?

Vicky, did you see I posted those aqua fresca recipes in the lounge?

Yes, ET, a man & a woman in a room & you can count on one being hot & the other cold. That's life. haha

Good Day BRS, TK, and Roadcrew!
Hope you get to feeling better BRS.
VT, not holding my breath on seeing Loredo. At least I can see Austin! Talked with daughter there last night. Thankfully kidney prob with the 1 twin has resolved itself.
Texas Lady, chili sounds good but I save that for winter time when I need warming!
Have a great day all!

Good morning all! It's pitch dark (at 06:15a.m) and REALLY cold here in Auckland...ok i guess it is mid winter, but looking at the lovely blue sky on Steves cam and reading some of the temps you're having makes me want something a little more summery! Texas lady, you could send some of that chilli over here!

Oh. BRS. This is just perfect! You found a wonderful place!

Just Vicky said...

How neat was that!!! GOATS!!

Is TK going crazy?

ET said...

OMG! That was so cool! Thanks BRS. Everyone in my office also says thank you.

ET said...

Hey, look at how clean and shiny BRS keeps our rig! You can use it as a mirror JV! But don't get hair spray on it or BRS will make you wash it. LOL

The bull was a big guy! So nice, what a treat for our day!

ET said...

Oh, you could have left the camera that way, it was neat looking to the side for a change and seeing all that scenery.

I don't know ET. I think I was getting car sick!

ET said...

eewww, sorry Taco. We certainly don't want that.

Hi everyone! Speaking of hot, there was an article in todays local paper about a lady who was going to a wedding reception, had been driving for a while in her flip-flops. When they arrived at the reception, she got her dress shoes out of the car trunk and put them on. Two steps and her soles detached from her shoes! She went back and got her spare pair and they melted as well! There was a pic of the shoes accompanying the article. Talk about HOT!

My lil plastic donkey turned into a plastic puddle on the rear deck of my Pontiac parked at Boulder Dam.

It's 103 here today. A seat belt buckle is the same as a branding iron.

BRS, is it possible for you to update your location? Then when we lose the cam, we can at least know where you are. I hate being lost. Grin

Just Vicky said...

LOL, are we having a contest for the "How Hot Is It?"

Virtual Traveller said...

Ooh - what have I missed with the cam! Went to water the garden and come back to read about something exciting going on!:(

Anonymous said...

He's 75 miles North of Laredo. He tried to update, could not. Sorry.

Taco said...

Texas Lady, thank you so much for the update. I owe you! Kudos!

Just Vicky said...

Yes Texas Lady we owe you! I found your recipes and I'm anxious to try them soon!

Dottie said...

I'm with VT.....someone tell us what we didn't see with the cam, please.

Taco said...

Dottie and VT, pulled over at maybe an old truck stop and cam was pointed at the greenest grassy field. There were cattle and 1 very large bull, grazing. Then he moved cam and we saw a tree, with a very large number of goats, in the shade, grazing. He took pics of that. Hope he also got the cattle.

92º in CENTRAL Wisconsin. Crazy weatherman says 100º today and tomorrow. Rain tonight, you know what that means!!!! Powerful storms. I say 95º and no rain. Maybe rain dance Friday night.

Virtual Traveller said...

Thanks Taco - wish I had seen it.

Taco said...

Threat of rain in Washington. None so far! No to the rain dance, DOE. I'm going to a community taste event. Food and music, Friday evening. I'll be the old lady, tagging along with the young adults! LOL

Taco said...

VT, hope he got it all on his camera. It was a real treat!
Took my breath away.

Dottie said...

Thanks, Taco, wish I had seen it too. That would have been different for the cam!

The Duke Of Earl. said...
