Well, we made it to delivery. It was foggy and slick out this morning, but we are here. Trailer stayed upright, nobody ran into me, I didn't run over anybody, so it is all good.This place I am at is a refreshing change of pace for truckers. Everybody from the guard to the check in folks were NICE. They have a cafeteria and they ALLOW truckers! I got a coffee, and you have no idea how much that cup of coffee is worth when I don't have time to get one myself. LOL On the way to the cafe (upstairs right next to the offices of HR, etc) I passed several employees in the hallway. Everyone one of them said Good Morning. Very nice indeed. Most places won't let us use their restroom, muchless use their cafe or even vending machines.
Good to see some places still do value the trucker as much as the customers!

I watched you pull in this morning and was amazed at how HUGE this warehouse was........I felt like I was watching through an airplane window looking for our gate number!
You delivered food/groceries this morning, right? That's just about the only place around.

I remember how drivers were sometimes not even allowed out of the rig..how sad..The plant where I worked did not allow drivers in the building either and that used to irritate me..How the heck did they expect to get their product to market? If not for truckers what would we do??? Thanks for what you do Steve..Shady
Thanks for the eye-opener. And to think that many Americans think there is no discrimination around these days! Why is nobody championing the right of truckers to use restrooms, use a vending machine, or eat in any cafe they want?? HUH, AMERICA?!
Steve is gracious to all, as he proved in his handling OF that ruckus yesterday. He didn't even ban the "bad apples" as others who had different opinions were want to do. Nor did he call them names. ALL are welcome on his site. So that means next time someone has an actual idea & wants to blog it, he is welcomed here by Steve. (You may scroll past it if it is too deep.) ha.
