Well, I have tried both sides of the delivery place. Neither side has an empty trailer for me to drag down to San Antonio with me.
Getting with dispatch to see what they want me to do. I highly doubt they will allow me to bobtail all the way to SA!
Yes, I did have a slight issue backing up to the dock this time. LOL. Sometimes I "got it" sometimes I don't. LOL Oh well.
The two things I have above the drivers side post the top is my Garmin Street Pilot 2610, an older GPS I have had for years. I do not use it for directions, but just a "rolling Atlas".
The one below that is the XM Radio.
What I did to disable the window switches so TK can't roll them down is to stuff my shoe in the hole above the door and switches. I have to cram it in there, but if she walks on it she won't hit the switches. She can't budget the shoe out of place either! :) Not yet anyway. LOL
I get all the questions so far?

Does anyone from your home office ever watch your web cam?
Good morning, all. I'm up. I see we are headed out. Headed to San Antonio? It looks so green there!
Boy, Steve, is moving today! He must not be pulling a trailer.
The dogwoods are in full bloom here SAHmom. And the yard mowing has started already!
Right now he is without a trailer.
Wow. I'd love to see the dogwoods. No dogwoods here.
I'll see if I can find my camera and take a couple of pics for you. It's going to be in the 70s again today.
Don't know if they have dogwoods in SA. That may just be a deep South thang. Maybe BRS will pass through the deep South again in the next couple of weeks and he can take some pics.
Ah we're still looking for a trailer!
Looks like they sent him on a wild goose chase.
hummmmmmm maybe a trailer this time????
hey motor...did you see BRS or has he made it as far as you yet?
waiting on him to head south and gonna catch him when he goes thru Burleson.
You answered a question before I asked it - why five or six gates so far today lol
By Golly I think we found one...
getyermotorrunning, EXACTLY where will you be? I will be sure to look for you! I know burleson/35 pretty well
we found an empty trailer!! woohoo! A brand new one at that! :)
Steve...
Thanks for the answer Steve. I was going to ask you when you first told us about it but we got off on other topics and I didn't want to interrupt.
Just curious, was that a railroad siding or railyard next to where you picked the trailer up from?
Nowwwwwwwwww are we on vacation?????
I saw you hehe
gonna look for you when you pass the rest area just south of burleson and will catch ya on 35.
look for a fat boy on a red harley
Hi Steve thamks for the wave
Well I missed the wave again!
Hey motor ... how far to Burleson?
Another wave.... LOL...
I've missed every one of them.
Steve can I bother you to TAPE a wave with both you and TK in it?
I have got to be one of the most unlucky watchers you have!!
Better yet... tape one with you, TK and your Mom and Dad (if they are willing)
I promise I'll never ask another favor (today). ;)
Oh no!!!! It was a quick one as he was walking by.
In the mural gallery, is that a picture of your mom?
I think we are now Southward bound.
prob about 30 min. as soon as he passes downtown ftw im gonna leave and wait for him.
Steve, I just hope you have a GREAT vacation, even tho you have to see the dentist. See you on your next run.
God Bless You and Miss TK
Have a great vacation, Steve. I've got to go but I will be checking back in. Hope the weather is good for you and you get lots of R & R. Be sure to post when you will be back on the road!
What did you bring TK for lunch?
Have a nice break See you soon
Hi everybody; I'm a little late checking in but it is only 6:00am here after all! Beautiful sunset yesterday Steve... had to watch it twice; once to watch the sky and once to catch all the activity at the truckstop(busy place!)..and will no doubt watch it again! Have a great Sunday everyone; catch you later. :-)
well shoot...motor did you see the BRT truck?
Yep, drove by him in the bike, waved at you guys when I got in front of him.
Hello everyone addicted to this site--ha ha--Steve's mom here, after church & after lunch.
Steve probably hasn't had time to see the murals gallery. Yes, that is me in the red shirt (but I've since managed to walk off a few pounds).
The pretty girl with dark hair is a young friend from church who had rather paint than eat & she sometimes goes along to help on a paint job. She is a good artist. It is double fun for me when she is able to go with me. --Texas Lady
My daughter told me there is a rodeo in Austin this weekend. Maybe everyone is heading to that. Lot's of traffic today. Drive safe Steve and TK.
Love the murals, did you do them all? There really cool. I live close to Cleburne, where is the one in Cleburne and I will run bythere sometime and take a real look at it?
OK...motor...then I saw you!!!! Couldn't tell if the bike was red or black on the screen. Did BRS honk his horn?
Texas Lady - my Mom sent BRS a message to behave and mind you while he's home. I mind my mom and sent the message along. My mom is 80.
Thanks Steve for answers to devices on door post. They looked interesting and I knew they had some use.
I enjoyed you telling us what you had to eat. There is more variety than I ever imagined.
Bike is red and Im glad he didnt honk, there was a lot of traffic and the car in front of him was going slow. Would have scared them to death.
Texas Lady, Those are wonderful and you have great talent. Beautiful and thank you for sharing with us.
TK must be hurngry???? Whats for lunch???
yup, I would have honked, but with all the traffic, I just flashed my lights instead.
new post up
Hi, getyurmotorunnin You asked did I do all the murals? NO!
Only from the point it says "in a private home". Certainly not all those murals you see in the entire gallery. I haven't lived that long yet! ha.
uslady -- thank to your mom for instructing Steve to "mind me". He does. Tell your mother thanks for thinking of us.
Someone else asked about dogwoods in south Texas. We have a few around. I've seen them in Bastrop State Park, about 75 mile north of us. In Texas we are used to distance, that's called near. --Texas Lady
