I was thinking about the look on TKs face when you did that.LOL She was like "Dad what r you doin? Whats happening?! Put me back in the truck its cold out here!" LOL To funny!!!!
ya know, I am beginning to find out the stream depends as much on the other end more than mine. lol even though alot of folks saw the strem, some said they did'nt have a stream when TK waved.
As usual, I missed it! I will just have to be happy remembering the time you threw not one, but TWO snowballs at the camera! That was fun and I loved that jacket with the big flag on the back you were wearing that day.
GOOD MORNIG sorry didn't mean to yell.. for you people who have trouble getting a stream..try this. before you go to BRS,first pause your security, then clik on BRS.. if it doesn't come up, clik on the banner (winner of earthCam's 25) a bunch of web cam pic's will come up. clik on the one with the highway, it will then come up into the right hand corner, then just clik on BIG RIG TRAVELS.. this should get you a stream. I have noticed that if the stream is busy it will let you know.. hope this helps
I definately know why I changed careers into trucking. It something I have always wanted to do since highschool, the main problem I was too young at the time, so I ended up joining the Army. Twenty some years later, I got out of the Army, and got a divorce, so what was the best choice? My childhood dream of course, become a truck driver and I did. Although I am a dispatch hold for the past few months for a medical reason, I will be back on the road fulfilling my dream in no time.
Steve - how do you locate truckstops? Do you just know from experience, or is there a website or do you carry a guidebook in the truck or does dispatch help you with that? Do you have a company-issued credit card to pay for things like this trailer wash? ML
I did see TK do her wave. Loved it never caught it before. Had a meeting so this is the first chance I got to comment. DAM MEETINGS!! TK is such a pretty kitty.
If I were a man, I think I would have enjoyed being a truck driver. Now I know that there are many ladies driving big rigs nowadays, but when I was coming of age, women just didn't do that yet. Not that I know of, anyway.
What a grand life --- I'm sure you are laughing, BRS, because in reality it probably isn't all that grand! But to get to see the country like you do, that is wonderful.
I'm really enjoying the travel across the country and learning all about trucking from BRS. It's a great site!
Morning to the BRS road crew..:) I am so sad I missed the wave..The one day I slept late...I would absolutly love a T-shirt..Esp if TK's paw print was on it.. What a great idea.. See you have good weather there today...Drive safe my friend.. Shady from Washington
My sis drove the big rigs for awhile.. She was 5'3" and very little.. The guys would pay her to adjust their brakes before going down a steep incline.. I thought that was funny that these big burly guys were having my sis adjust their brakes...Shady
Thank you for your encouragement. Believe me when I say no one wants me back out on the road more than me. I do have to be at 100% before I can be cleared and that may be in a couple more months.
