This is the truckstop where I wanted to spend the night. They closed down the parking spaces to allow more motorcycles and vendor tents for Destination Daytona visitors right next door. I did manage to find a parking spot in an old abandoned gas station down the street. Boy, were there ALOT of motorcycles!!!

Good you found a place to park your rig and it was safe overnight. Too bad some parking could not have been reserved for you truck guys to use also.
Daytona Bike week is quite the spectacle! We just happened to be on our way to Sanford at the time. We stopped in St. Augustine for a few hours, and the place was full of bikers. Many are "old hippies" from days gone by. They behaved and had a good time.
Are they still doing the daily "body counts" of the motorcycle fatalities? It was up to 14 when we left and the Bike thing was not over.
Enjoy your time there. It's quite the adventure!
