Ok Road Crew. We are shutting down for the night. Good Job!
We are well on our way, and ahead of schedule.
A few questions were asked while I was driving. You can find the tripod answers in the FAQs about photographic equiptment I use.
The yellow poles I drive through is the customers scales. Some places have their own scales, others do not. I love it when I can scale out the trailer before I even leave so I KNOW that I am legal, and do not have to worry about finding a scale. I can just go down the road.
Because I fuel where the company tells me to, I go the route they send me. 99 out of 100 times it is what I show on my "Where Is Steve?" Map.

Hi Steve, TK and all you lovely bloggers, Because it's saturday here and i didnt have to work I got to follow bits and pieces of todays travels :-). enjoyed it heaps. Hope everyone had a great day. Maybe I'll get to see THE WAVE!
Glad ya had fun today Jilli! :)
I do several waves, heck, I'll even do one here in about 5 minutes on my way to the FOOD place! :)
Hi Steve & TK, glad you're safe and sound for the night. I have a question for you Steve and your mom (Texas Lady). I'm wondering if you learned any of your photography skills from your mom? The reason I ask is because Texas Lady had mentioned that she took the pictures that are in the family gallery (if I'm remembering right).
thnks! I'm watching!
well, she kinda learnbed from me, and I just always had the interest since I was a kid. I used to make cameras out of oatmeal cylinders, and was always fascinated how a "box" and chemicals and paper could capture and recreate an image. I learned just by doing, and seeing what looked good or not. I did alot of experiments as well. Maybe after I eat, I can tell you a few if you have interest.
Wave coming up in 2 minutes.
Thx Steve!! I would love hearing about some of your experiments.
got the wave!! Got a ? for you. Who owns the trailers you use? Seems you leave one somewhere, and take another one.
WooHoo!!! Got it! Finally got to see the wave! Hope you have a scrumptious dinner BRS! Dont forget somethng delicious for TK...as if she'd let you forget her! Love to know more about your photography too :-)
I logged on just in time to see you wave, Steve. This is the first time I've been lucky enough to see it. It seems that I just barely miss it everytime. That may be another idea for your shirt....a picture of you waving! Just an idea, ha!
The handfull of picture that you have of you on your site, I wonder... do you have your tripod set up and take your own picture, or is there a friend along and they take your picture?
Saw the wave too, thanks. Hope you enjoyed your dinner.
I don't take pics of myself. LOL. But they are the few that others caught of me.
The truck and trailers are all owned by the company I drive for.
