Ok, finally got the chance to change the Featured Galleries for this week.
They are from the past as I have no new galleries this week. First time ever to happen since BRT began!
Oh well, spring is near, and trust me, I will be out in full force making new galleries!

We'll forgive you! THIS TIME!!!!!
I think we need a new gallery of TK.
Steve where are the pics of the "Ghost Town"?
I really was not happy at all with them. I had the camera set wrong, and they have a very heavy pink cast to them. LOL I will probably make them all B/W, then put them in a gallery.
I'm thinking this BRS is a picky picky self critic!
I agree Vicky.. Maybe we can judge them?
wow thank God we don't have type in the words anymore THANK YOU STEVE
B&W photos look so nice. Our youngest daughter had a lab set up in our basement. She got some really nice pictures. I liked your shot of TK that was B&W.
YES I noticed that too!!! My poor spell checker and word suggesting got sooooooooo confused with those fan dangled words!
Not to mention how much quicker we can respond!!!
THANK YOU STEVE n TK!!!! Bet TK helped!
Yes big TY Steve.
I agree Tacoma, B&W photos can be so pretty
Steve, St. Patrick's Day is coming. Are you going to do a jig for us? Wearing some green too?
SHHHHH JustVicky, he might put it back to slow us down! Now we can really talk his head off. :0)
OHHH! Asheville is on your new route - it is one of my favorite places. I'll be glued to the screen on this trip. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon.
LOL @ Vicky
lol.
i made some changes..:)
and we LIKE them
I LOVE the photo of Miss TK "daydreaming"
Someone tell me --- what are the changes? I see nothing different.
Yeah me too!!!
You don't have to type in the crazy words
oohhh, I see! Funny I didn't notice that!
I am so happy we don't have o do that I am dancing a "Jig".. LOL
Well I thought there was a newer change!!!!
Steve after looking at those photos of Miss TK, you have to admit that your time inside that truck would be BORING if it was not for Miss TK.. :)
I would like to see at least one of the ghost town shots. I'll bet the pink tone gives it a surreal quality . . .
I agree IA SAHmom
HI STEVE,this is dad ,I bought the duct tape you wanted.I hope that you put it to good use.Why is it every time grandma calls you, there is always a muffled sound in the back ground? Also every time she wants to talk to TK you say she is sleeping, outside playing or inside a truck stop. Are you doing something to our pretty grand kitty. If you are I'm going to have your hide.
Hi Steve's dad. Nice to met you...LOL
LOL LOL @anonymous
Hi Steves Dad pleased to meet you Dont worry about TK All the gang here watching out for her

I didn't think it was your dad..LOL
Of all things, granddad part of the conspiracy!!!
TK will be leaving a surprise in your boot, verrrrry soooooon!
WHAT'S SUPPOSE TO BE RUINED ABOUT THOSE PICTURES???????? YOU'RE TOOOOOO PICKY!!!!
what? ya mean you do not see the bright, blaring, blinding PINK in every image??? LOL
but its a ghost town! It adds mystic to it!
Steve .....you undersell yourself. The pics are wonderful as usual Please put them along side your other pics
I for one love them! Am I the only one??
Thank you Ann!!!! Didn't think I was that crazy!
Blonde yes but NOT crazy!
I can't FIND the pics.. BOO HOOO
Please make sure the lil church gets added to your church houses gallery!
Vicky PLEASE send me the link in a email :)
Wow Steve, you really were in a whoppin snow storm!
I googled it and it said no such site.. :(
Will do Terri!
The pics are great. I'm not a professional photographer, but I don't see anything wrong with them and I don't see any blaring, bright pink in the images. I really liked the church pictures, makes me wonder who went to that to that church, how long ago, what they were wearing, etc.
Tks Vicky
The pix remind me of a little town called Macauley, Texas, up above Abilene near Hamlin.
I like number 29 the best. I think the snow adds the perfect touch.
You've got mail Terri!
I spent hours looking at the pics Vickie reliving wonderful hols in the US TY Steve
Tks Vicky brb
I like the snow all over the cactus!
I'm a tree person, love #17!
Gosh #1 is really neat too!
I haven't gotten the email yet.. :(
Steve since MOST ppl are saying the pics are good PLEASE add them to your gallery.
I love the church shots; those are wonderful! I also like #20 of the house with the two large trees in front. Those are cool trees. The falling snow in all the pictures is neat. Was that a cactus with snow on it, with the yellow? I don't know my cacti; do you know what kind it was?
I do NOT see any pink. Of course, my monitor might be different. They all looked fine to me.
Did you ever get your shower, Steve, or have you been on the computer all this time? :)
Well I will keep checking my email. I am out for today. Take care everyone and will see you tomorrow. Have a good nights rest Steve, you have a early day.
God Bless
ttfn
lol Ia SAHmom! We can't smell him so we don't mind!
ok, hang tight. i will add them to the featured list on the homepage shortly....
BRS..I found your website about 3 weeks ago and have been checking it everyday. I want to thank you for the creative site and the beautiful photos. Looking forward to more and safe driving on your adventures.
I am so glad you decided to share the photos of the ghost town. I think I watched you take them from the warmth of my living room. As usual, they are beautiful.
thanks Aquarius2 - welcome aboard the truck
Girl power lol ty Steve
Glad you have smarts enough to listen to us critics BRS!
I must agree with everyone else - these pictures are wonderful and I am glad you are going to add them to the site. I love the old houses and the church - you do just have to wonder about the folks who lived there.
THANK YOU STEVE!! You made a wise choice there! lol
We would have had to flog you if you didn't!
so now ya gonna buy some, right? LOL
But, I will go back on a sunny bright blue sky day and reshoot that town! :)
And those photographs will be good too but they won't have the snow and the snow is part of the appeal in this set of photographs.
Will send you a donation tomorrow to buy TK some food instead lol.Too late tonight Bed time here now Just waiting up to watch the Shuttle launch then thats me away
Warm tones don't exactly "go" with a ghost town. Cooler "dead" tones is what one would expect (blues, grays). But the warm tones, being unexpected, make these photos different from typical ghost town pictures. Like maybe it's inhabited by active, vibrant ghosts. What's that in the window? (And no, I haven't been smoking anything.)
Howdy Everyone! Looks like y'all have been quite entertained today!
Howdy TK and BRS!
