Good Soggy Sunday morning to everybody!

Well, soggy in Charlotte, NC. After looking at weather radar it looks like another day of sloppy, wet driving ahead of me. No biggie though with less than 500 miles to go. Heck, maybe I can even "outrun" the snow! I have a habit of being just a few hours ahead of storms this year. Of course, now that I mentioned it, the luck might run out. LOL . Actually, there is no luck. It's called having God watch out for me mile after mile! There have been MANY times I should have been in an accident, etc but wasn't.

Wait. That does not mean I am an unsafe driver. But it does mean that being out here on the road, in the elements 24 hours a day, alot can happen. From storms and floods to major wrecks and accidents, and crazy people.

The good thing about all this - rain is paving the way for some good wildflowers this year! You know I will be out and about taking photos!

ok, TK keeps hollaring at me to get my butt driving so she can hog up the bed and be rocked to sleep by the motion of the truck moving. Spoiled Truck Kat!

Oh---I am trying an ad on the BRT website. Not sure if it will stay or not. Does it look horrible? Ugly? Ya don't mind it? Let me know. At least I did TRY to blend it in. LOL

Don't forget MARCH FREE Wallpapers are now available! Grab'Em Up! :)

Nah don't mind the ad. Been wondering why Petsmart doesn't advertise on your site.

The only problem is you have a hard time seing the drop downs... mabey somewhere else??? but its up to u

As anonymous said, only problem with the ad is that it blocks the dropdown menu dealing with the "Gallery". Other than that, it is not intrusive in any way.

I would like to make a suggestion though, a suggestion box. I know there are a few topics that I think it would be interesting to have you cover in your blogs and I am sure other people feel the same way. For instance, you talked about fueling the truck. I for one am interested in knowing some of the particulars on that such as how many gallons of fuel do your tanks hold and how far can you drive on full tanks. Another example is you talked about making a "career change" that led you to trucking. I'd be interested to know what you changed careers from and why. Your story could be inspiration for someone else.

Thank you for the glimpse into your world Steve. It is definitely changing my perspective of what life on the road is like.

Yes Steve inquiring minds would like to know more BUT on the other hand you are entitled to some privacy! I'd also like to know if you are an independent driver as far as you deciding what, when and/or where you want to take loads.

As far as those "career changes" go, I for one know first hand how unexpected one can happen!

Thanks for the new March free wallpapers!! I SNATCHED MINE UP!

Well, after telling you yesterday that you would be in clear weather after NC, I am retiring in disgrace from the weather predicting game.

I woke this morning talking to my friend in Mississippi who was claiming it was snowing all over Alabama and Georgia, and I had to actually turn on the weather channel before I totally believed it. Parts of Georgia are experiencing "thunder snow".

Stay safe. Cheers Fin

Yes Fin...it's snowing in Alabama. Well more like a mini blizzard. We have 3 inches on the ground and snow coming down sideways. Roads are so slippery that church services were canceled. Looks like TK and Steve will get through Georgia before it starts hitting the coastal communities. Don't know what's worse...driving in snow or driving through Daytona during Bike Week.
