Good Saturday Morning!

Ok, who's idea was it to get me up this dang early? I just answered about 50 emails, and have about 50 left for tonight.

I got alot of complaints about the camera lately. The biggest complaints were about buffering and the fuzziness in rain and "not a clear picture" if they set it to full screen.

Basically, there are alot of things that go into getting a live video feed to your computer. The quality can change depending on how fast I can get upload the feed to Camstreams. If the towers are slow dialup or not existent at all, there is nothing I can do about it.

About going full screen, you have to expect lower quality. The webcamera as it is displayed on the website is designed to be small. With ANYTHING....if you take a small image, and blow it up huge, of course it will be crummy. Then you happen to do it on a bad rainy day, then it really can be bad.

When raining, or very cloudy/dark/snowing, it is hard for the camera to be in focus like it is during a bright sunny day. On darker days, the camera has to try and figure out a happy medium between the speed of the truck/road/trees, etc and still getting the light needed to even make a picture.

You really cannot compare the webcamera in a moving truck to the quality of a HD TV studio camera!!! I would LOVE the webcam feed to be perfect everyday, everytime, never go offline, always connected, etc. But I can't control that part.

I'm happy to have what I do get from the feed, 'cause it's way more than I could ever accomplish. Thank you. Oh yeah, that's the face I saw you make last night. One more thing, was that a dog running across the parking earlier?

DOG? probably. LOL

Ask TK, she is fully aware of everything that happens in front of the truck. She sits on the dash and steering wheel and watches everything with an Eagle's eye!

She said "YES, stinky dog".
