Good Monday morning to everybody!

We are way ahead of schedule right now, and that is always a good place to be. :)

Since today will take us across west Texas, all you can expect to see is tumbleweeds, maybe an oil rig or two, and alot of OPEN space. Way out here, the data towers and cell towers are not good quality at all. Everytime I roll through this area, the connection is very poor and gets dropped every now and then. Just keep that in mind today if we lose signal, or the truckcam does alot of buffering.

We are up early, we just have to wait until we "officially" finish our 10 hour break. It will be up hopefully by the time I get my coffee, and rub the cat fur and sleep out of my eyes!

See ya somewhere in West Texas today!

By the way Steve, thanks for featuring the Salt Kettle Rest Area, IL! That's right at my Oakwood exit on I-74! Also, Oakwood,IL was famous for its "Commode Town Races!"

Good morning Steve and TK. Have a safe trip. So glad things are back to normal for TK. As a cat owner myself they hate changes in anything. But she sure is a lucky girl to have all the love and attention that you give her.

Wow, and people complain about Iowa being flat. There's a whole lot of nothing in that part of Texas, it looks like!

I know what you mean about the internet reception. Drove from New England to Dallas with a wireless card for my laptop, and the first place I lost it was Texas.

Yours is phenominal actually, holding signal all the way through the Baltimore tunnel, not to mention the truck wash.
