About to go back down to South Indianapolis to get the trailer washed out then back up to Anderson to swap trailers.

I was surprised to see so many posts here as well but after checking the posts I see it was a lot of "bantering" and "play talk", which adds up quite fast. Its a little more inconvenient to have to read thru all that stuff to find "substance" lol. I think Steve is in charge of things here, so, if he wants us to do something different I am sure he will let us know :>). I dont see Steve as a bashful person so I leave it to him IMHO. I agree that BRS is a big boy and can take care of himself. He knows how to screen comments if he wants to, and obviously does not need anybody's help in how to run his blog. He has of course reacted favorably to suggestions.
But, like someone up above me said, I, too, have seen these things ruined by people who simply have nothing to do but sit and make comments all day. If people are logging on from overseas, do they REALLY want to wade through sixty comments from just two individual 'fans' to see if BRS has said anything, like perhaps answering a question they asked in the recent past.
My only hope is that this blog brings true enjoyment and enrichment to the man who has put so much effort into making it so nice.

Hesitantly I say hello everyone. Read through the comments and they just about shut me down. I checked the photos today...and BRS the night time photo shoot of the truck stop went great. Took some shots from about 40 feet in the air! First time I've operated a boon and I think it will be the last. Keep the shiny side up!

I agree with whoever said this blog is being overtaken by 4 or 5 too chatty persons. I like to come on & see folks respond to BRS & TK with good mornings, safe travels style greetings & asking questions BRS can answer later. Whenever anyone has a question, its a given that many others will find the answer interesting as well. But to come on & see 110 comments makes one back out of digging through to see if any questions were asked or answered! Self control may be in order...maybe a little?
We are all waiting anxiously to see what the good natured blog owner is going to have to say on the subject.
Whatever it is, his history tells us that it will be polite and friendly and appropriate.
Meanwhile, some might give thought to beginning a blog of their own with the identity already set up here. I for one would like to know more about some of the people who are so invested here. And it would be a fine place to talk back and forth to one another.
To the 5 or 6 jaw-waggers out there who have nothing but drivel gush out:
1. Quit complaining about the stream or the quality thereof. Have you checked out the other 24 of the "25 Most Interesting Webcams". You really should. Other than BRT, they are all stationary cams that are of inferior quality to BRT's. Get a grip!
2. Since you enjoy chatting with each other, discover yourselves. E-mail one another, pick up the phone and talk to each other, start your own blog as someone else suggested. But whatever you do, stop clutting up this blog with your nonsense.

I am a newbee to this whole truck cam thing and I can't tell you how much it has been a blessing in disguise. I sit in my basement office all day and when I discovered this site I was extactic. I get to see the outdoors and better yet parts of our beautiful county I will most likely never see. Then Steve but up this blog. I feel he considers the bloggers like family. Well that is the impression I get. They care about him and TK and if strangers cared for each other more like this group does the world would be a much better place. It truly saddens me that this blog has been up for such a short period of time and it has broken down to this. So there is innocent chatter going on between family members. Maybe that is something He also wants to be a part of and that is why the blog was introduced. Even if it is several hours later. Not just having questions thown for him to answer. It is a kind of unwind. This bickering will by why I won't blame BRS if he wants to take it down. I apologize if me saying my piece has offended anyone but is was distressing to see that in the morning there was humerous concern and now people are afraid to talk for fear of offending.

FinnFam - couldn't have said it better myself. I'm sitting here preparing to go teach a group of young soldiers just back from Iraq that are trying to finish their college degrees before being redeployed to Afghanistan. I find it relaxing to look up from my studies to see where BRS and TK are now. The comments from the different people around the nation and the world are fun to read. I'm glad to see that connections are being made. When I read some of the Anonymous comments...I wanted to ask - well I won't ask because I already know the answers since I do teach Communications at the upper college level. All I ask is that Anonymous not impose his or her reality but let BRS set the reality ground rules for his blog.

BRS and TK probably have the youngest fan living at my house. My 2.5 year old daughter loves to watch him drive and see him move on the map. His phenominal photos are always a highlight for her to see and we point on the map where he took them. (Not sure if she get that part yet) She also repeatedly love to look at the pics of "TK..itty".

Holy Man!!! Did I ever miss alot of ruckus today. Just started a new job today (after being on my previous job for 17 years and then being laid off). This is what I think (not that is really matters). There is alot of chit-chat that goes on in the comments section and obviously it's annoying some people. But like the Duke of Earl said, it's easy enough just to scroll down if you don't like it. As far as questions for Steve that someone really wants answered, a e-mail to Steve would probably be the best option. I don't see anything wrong with the chit-chat, maybe there's a point where enough is enough and maybe not (that's for Steve to decide). A separate chat room was discussed when this blog was started, but Steve was against it because of the type of content anyone could leave in the chat room. If a controlled type of chat room was possible, that could always be a option. I don't mind the chit-chat and find it entertaining. The people chatting alot care alot about BRS and TK, now feelings have been hurt, and that's never a good thing. If Steve decides to address this issue, he seems to be the type of person that would want to find a solution that wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings but at the same time make all his and TK's fans happy--I wish him all the luck there. I just hope his blog stays the same. It's nice to read his daily writings about his day/night events, his thoughts, interesting happenings on the road, etc. I think that's what the blog was intended for in the first place. OK, enough is enough (talking to myself), it's in the 40's and sunny here in Green Bay, WI. This is like a heat wave for us, I'm need to go enjoy the sun and take a quick jog. It's suppose to be in the 50's tomorrow, yipee!! Bless everyone:)
