Well, got done pretty quick! I was surprised! I even have my next load. It does not load until tomorrow morning, so am just going to hang out here until then. I am updating the Where Is Steve map right now.....
This truckstop I am in is about the only thing around here. But it really is not a truckstop anymore. LOL. I pulled in here (after even looking at Google satellite map) and the parking lot has been changed all around, and the gas station has been bought out. I did go inside and ask about the parking lot, and they told me it does belong to them, they bought out the store, and will open it back up as a truckstop soon. In the meantime I get to park here tonight for free! (Since they are redoing it). Can't beat that for a soggy Friday!

Hi Steve........just want to say thanks for setting up this blog. We can really keep up with you now. Keep safe both of you. Best wishes Ann Lincolnshire UK
Steve, this blog is great, it really gives your site a personal touch. I can just imagine TK trying to catch those raindrops, that is soooo cute. Good-luck with your two dollar race, I'll be heading over there. Stay Safe.
Welcome to my part of the country! classic ohio weather: raining one minute, snowing the next! ...such a dreary day.
When you are doing a longer haul, like NJ to Utah, do you plan where you intend to stop each nite before you begin the days trip, or do you wait to see how traffic and weather affect your travel?

Saw your Great $2 Race. I am glad to send a few $$ your way to help one of my favorite websites.
Thanks for sharing your world with us.
Hi Steve. I have had so much fun watching your travels this week. Of course, today that parking lot looks wet and cold! Stay safe and thanks for sharing your life with all of us.

Hi Steve & TK,
Sounds as though you are having a good ending to the soggy day that started it all. Read the map and looks like you will be heading into some sunshine states. Do you have any accommodations in your cab like a microwave for heating up supper when you pull into truck stops that aren't really truck stops! Truck stop to me is equal to GOOD FOOD!
You truckers are a special breed! We really do appreciate all you do for us

I never thought about truckers having to pay for overnight stop. Can you tell us what the usual fee is?
Please stay safe this weekend, snow is expected in the south tomorrow. I live in west TN and they are talking about 3 to 5 inches of snow for us today, YUK. Ok, stay safe and God Bless You and TK.
You seem to have caught onto the blogging thing pretty quick! My kids love asking "where's big rig steve today?"
